I am a bit worried about the accuracy of a snub nose revolver. My issue during requal was hitting the target at 7 yards. Trying to hit it at that range with a snub nose might be harder. I agree with you regarding the double action only pistol. The extra effort to pull the trigger would make it harder to keep the gun on target. When I was security and had to retest with the 686, I would **** the hammer as it was coming down from the recoil of the previous shot. Worked out pretty well IIRC. Don't know if this little 38 will have that much recoil. It should, as I had to retest with 38 ammo and not 357 ammo back then. No magnum rounds allowed. I guess I will find out when I get it. Probably sometime next month. Have to wait about two weeks for the card to arrive, and then there is the mandatory 11 day waiting period after I buy it. Not to mention paying for the background check and every other fee Newsom has attached to gun sales.
This is how I wear my fanny pack. I am too fat for it to be worn correctly.
I make sure it is around my shoulder so as to not be able to be pulled away from me. I know it is not good for quick access like a belt holster, but I have so much fat hanging over the belt it would be hard to get to. And it would be difficult to reach with the scooter arms in the way. I do keep a round in the chamber but have the safety on, so I don't accidently shoot myself. It is not the most ideal setup, but it is better than nothing.
This is an old photo. Taken the day the scooter lift was installed. However, it is the only one of me showing the fanny pack I have. There is a retired park ranger in one of my Bible studies at church. Maybe I can get him to clean the weapon once correctly. I can clean the barrel with no problems, but it is everything else I can't get to when it is assembled.

Reason: add info.
Clint Eastwood is still alive, but he just celebrated his 94th birthday recently. I don't know if anyone would vote for him due to his age. I would, but that is just me. Gavin has eyes on the presidency, but I seriously doubt he will get it. Got help us if he does...

I doubt very seriously if Newsom will run for pres. I've heard him talk about it, and he feels his dyslexia would be a show-stopper.
You also need to consider if the current pres. will make it the whole 4 years. personally, I have my doubts.
Free speech is one thing, looting and destroying property is something else.
I have no idea why illegal aliens are more important than legal immigrants.
Drove my truck yesterday. It worked flawlessly. I'm starting to gain confidence in it again.
I'm all in on immigration. The question is how to manage it. Who gets to say how many people can come, and from which countries? I don't have any answers for how it should be done. Different nations have different models. We are not the only country dealing with unauthorized immigrants.
We are not the only country dealing with illegal aliens true, but as the richest country in the world, I am sure more people would want to come here than any other country. And if they were to do it legally, I would not have a problem with it.

Legal immigration is subject to interpretation. Laws change. Policies change. In my family, we come from several countries in Asia, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Argentina, England, South Africa, and yes, even family members from Mexico. Politics and economic migration were the primary factors. A cousin came here from Canada because a Silicon Valley tech company hired him. Long before the recent controversial refugees from South Africa, my South African cousins came for the very same reasons. Because of changes in politics, some of my ancestors fled to America to escape death. Other family members came for economic opportunity........ to escape poverty and starvation.
It is always interesting to learn why our ancestors are no longer in other lands, and how they came to be in The USA.
It's also interesting to study who is a citizen, why they are citizens, and what legally makes them a citizen. What is "birthright citizenship" and who does it belong to? At some point in most of our families, an ancestor came to The USA from another country. That person had a child born on American soil. If that child born on American soil, is not a US Citizen because the parents were from another land, then we would all be illegal and deported. What about children of American citizens who were born on foreign soil? If one of you guys had a kid in another country, would your kid be an American? I have several cousins in The Military, who had children while stationed in other countries. A few of my cousins had children while traveling. What if you're on a cruise ship and you give birth?
Jim, you got me thinking. I had to look it up. Are we the richest country in the world? Apparently not. I might have to move to one of those countries. Maybe find a way to sneak in illegally. The richest country is Singapore. I could wash dishes at a Panda Express there, and do better than having rocks and bottles thrown at me in America.
