So far , I have found Ford service is very good. Keep in mind the dealers are not owned by Ford, so the treatment you recieve from one dealer to another can be very different. One thing I did not care for though, is when I was having problems that my dealer could not figure out, I called another dealer & asked them to look at it. They said my dealer already got paid to fix the problem so they would have to be the one to deal with until it was fixed right.

It's like you're saying that since no one can produce hard, verifiable numbers to prove that the 6.0 has been a mess compared to the dmax, it's not really true. I guess you can take that approach if you want to but I think most reasonable, non-brand loyal people would find enough evidence on the net to convince them of what the truth is here.
No one is publishing any of these numbers publicly that I've ever heard about. The source of my findings is having followed the dmax forums for 2+ years after I bought my late year 01 dmax/allison Chevy and now following the 6.0 forums after buying my late year 01 6.0. There are more problems on the 6.0 forums daily than the dmax forum had in a week(s) or longer. MY TRUCK WAS QUIET UNTIL THEY FLASHED THE COMPUTER,BUT IT WAS STILL LOUDER THAN MY BUDDIES DMAX AND CUMMINS,BUT I HAD MORE POWER. (THEN)THIS FLASH THING SUCKS. TRUCK SMOKES NOW,LESS SNAP UNTIL RPM IS HIGH,SEEMS TO SHAKE AT IDLE AND BURN RICH.AND MOTOR SEEMS TO HAVE A PING TO IT.
