6.0PSD poll

I'm wondering how many 6.0 owners are having problems with their truck and how many are not.

NO, NONE, NOTHING

Have you had any reflashes?
No NEVER will not let them touch it, sell truck before I will alow a refalsh

Has your performance improved after reflashes?
clueless great performance now, smoke mustangs

what is your average MPG?
If I am nice and drive like the 52 year old I am...21.1on the highway, average is18.9 overall with out taking into account trailer time.
with my big trailer (see gallery) and it is big

OOPS forgot to tell you the build date, it is one of the so called bad dates, as if there could be a bad date for the birth of a ford

03/03

I think I'm close on this should be within a couple of years..................haha

I have a 03 with a build date of Dec 02. I was reading the complaint section and I saw my truck in so many of them. They have starting buying them back here in Ark. Otherwise I LOVE my truck! I do not want to give it up I just want it fixed. I call her " Big Momma".

I am getting about 16 MPG combined actual milage (not from the lie-o-meter). I only have 6000 miles on her and hope that it will improve but not too bad for 4x4 I guess.

I really do love the truck! It runs great with no flashes. I just get nervous when I read about all of the problems others are having

1. no problems with the 6.0L here...

2. no reflashes

3. getting about 16-17mpg around town, 18-20 mpg freeway unloaded. with an automatic and 3.73 gears

4. id give it a really good rating, i love the truck.. love the power.. the fuel economy is ok. (i only have 9k miles on it and it's a 4x4).. but i do have a problem with the driver side floor board getting wet... it goes into the dealer on tuesday for it, i cant see where its coming from..

2003 F250 4x4,Crew Cab, Lariat. Build date of 6/03.

A couple of times the idle has acted kinda funny, a little rolling up and down action.

Also, sometimes in the "tow/haul" mode when it downshifts it will really SLAM into gear. Does it one time and then seems to figure itself out and doesnt do it anymore for awhile.

Have not had a "reflash", don't know if I want to. Would like to get rid of the delay when going from a dead stop though if I can do so w/out causing other problems. Does anyone know if an intake with resolve this???

Mileage is 19+ on the road w/cruise at 70. Only 8500 miles.

Love the truck... can't believe the difference between 6.0 and my triton 5.4 that I just sold. God willing, I'm never going back to gas!!!

2003 F250 XLT. Built 12/02
One check engine light - did reflash and all is great.
Wonder if and when I will have problems that I have been reading of. Have 3500 miles on it now and it is a great truck.
Do get 18-19 mpg

Nothing yet at 1300 miles. Well nothing except my irresistable urge to stomp on the pedal.
