Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 32 in the River bottom. Temp has been going the wrong way for the last hour or so. Only rain here. Radar showing snow headed right at us but turning to rain as it gets over us.

A little bit of that, but not much. One of the things I've traditionally looked for at dealerships are lease returns when shopping used. No matter what you do, it's a coin toss.
We did go to town yesterday looking for SUV's like one of these, that we did take out on a test drive.
After looking at several of the above and taking the two pictured out for test drives, we decided to take one more out for a test drive before it got dark. It only had 58,000 miles, 34,000 less than the others we had test driven and been looking at.
Well, the Warden had a sudden change of heart and instead of bringing one of the two above home, we came home with..........

I think I may have to go back through a Flight Engineer update school to figure all the of the bells, buttons, gauges and multi function displays out.
Belated good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Just getting home from a friends place at the beach. Snow started coming down like a blizzard at the North Pole. 31° and it is really starting to pile up fast.
Bed time, another long day tomorrow. Maybe there will be enough snow to slow everything down.
Had 3/4" at home and there is zreo in Corvallis. Looks like Portland got hammered. Dang I miss living in the upper elevations. Going to really cold the next couple of days. Hoping it drys out otherwise we'll be pulling some shift work over the weekend.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 29° at 196" ASL here on the river bottom with just a trace of snow. Just got off the phone with my buddy 220 feet ASL on Echo Mtn. out of Otis. He has 6" snow, and they have no power. He said the power went out some time ago. He has one of those nasty, death inducing, trouble making, polluting gas ranges so they have hot food. His pellet stove is out though which doesn't work without electricity. Apparenly the regulator on his generator has quit working so he can't plug anything into his generator.
Have to make a couple of phone calls now. The RV dealership is slow walking repairs on the camper and the warranty claim was denied saying the the cracked skylight is glass and not plastic. Warranty doesn't cover glass. The exclusion for glass is talking about headlights and windows, not plastic skylights.
Good afternoon Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Temperatures went south to a current 25 after climbing to 31. Got more snow and have a bit of a build up now, but not much. Barely an inch, if that much.
Getting ready to take the new to us car out for a short drive. I want to see how the car (lower clearance) and the All-Wheel Drive handles in the snow.
Learned something new yesterday afternoon and they reinforced it this morning so, "I now be educated!". Polycarbonateplastic is now GLASS solid plastic made of poly methacrylate is also GLASS. At least according to a warranty adjuster who is denying a claim because they don't cover "GLASS". A new skylight can breathe new life into any RV by providing an updated look that is both smart and attractive.
Infuse your living space with the beauty and warmth of natural light.
Durable, Impact-Resistant Polycarbonate Plastic (they're wrong! Thats glass, not plastic!)
At 1220 it was 38 at the house. At 1430 it was 27 and remains there. Going to be a cold night. Still 38 here in Corvallis. It just snowed/rained here so everything is wet. Going to be an ice rink in the am.
One of those skylights caused an issue in our 5er. When installed, the "glass" cracked at every screw hole. Manufacturer covered it thankfully but that install is what got us a new roof on that unit also. Gotta love insurance. You pay only to have them cheat you out of covering what you thought they were covering. Thank goodness it's friday #1.
