Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Using Cell phone as hot spot for internet with barely 1 bar of signal. Not sure what I'm using for an internet signal. On the old iPhone 1 bar fading in and out wouldn't even get you a laughing emoji.
Sitting in a basic plain jane cabin at La Pine State Park. Must be more of hill than I though or too many trees. When we were at the entrance booth we had 3 bars.
From just east of Marion Forks until around the east end of Suttle Lake, the roads were pretty dicey to say the least. The new to us car with AWD seemed fantastic. I think I'm sold on AWD.
We felt it trying to get squirrely several times but I could feel the AWD directing power to one wheel and then another and doing other traction activity that it does, keeping it straight on the road. No chains or Tire Sox used. Once we got east of Suttle Lake, it was bare pavement and by the time we got near the Camp Sherman Jct & Indian Ford we had bare pavement. Sunshine and blue sky from Black Butte on.
Morning all and Happy FRIDAY! Word has it my son is coming in tonight and will take his dog back tomorrow. Week and half been dog sitting, good dog but very needy.
