Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Had coffee and gab session with a group of former collogues this morning and put the whole schedule a couple of hours behind. Need to make a trip over to the City Water Treatment Plant this morning where they have big dumpsters for recycling yard debris, metal, glass and cardboard. The 96 has scrap metal and cardbard in it now that needs to go.
Then I need to stop at Farm Supply and fill 5 propane bottles.
After that, what I'm, sure will be a painful trip to Costco in Salem this afternoon lies ahead.
Good afternoon Chris. Lunch time at home in the living room. How's the view of the smoke stack?
Off to Salem for what is sure to be a painful trip to Costco.
Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Just getting back from the torture trip to Salem. Costco actually wasn’t so bad.
The Warden forced me, almost at gunpoint but not quite, to stop for a BBQ Rib dinner at Lancaster Applebee’s They did them up right. Not a single piece of gristle or fat and no greasy residue on the roof of your mouth.
Got a hit on the far driveway game camera while we were on the way home. One of the poossy cats was out for a stroll at Bravo Compound up on the mountain!
I was costco twice yesterday. I think navigating the parking lot was more painful than actually being inside. I think we are done Christmas shopping. Last thing I need to do is some gift cards for my crew.
Need to work on the laundry room today. Looks like i had a leaky water hose to the washer so I need to do some cleaning, fix some drywall and paint. what a pain.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 30.1 degrees with pea soup fog in the river bottom.

The parking lot at Costco was atrocious. And people were being their typical stupid selves blocking the driveways for 5 -10 minutes waiting for people to unload grocery carts, eat their hot dog and then back out of a parking spot just to save walking an extra 10 feet, not thinking they were parking half a parking lot away from the cart return and thusly actually walking further than if they would have taken the spot 6 spaces up the road that was right next to the cart return.
So, yep we expected it to be wall to wall people inside and check out backed clear up to the meat department. I don't know where all the people that went with all of those cars were, but it was pretty nice inside the store. And, several of the checkouts had zero carts waiting so it was an easy and quick check out.
