Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 47 and clear in Newport.
Road trip today. Mess up with some Christmas packages and they went to Bravo compound. So, we have to go get them before going to Washington.
Good morning Oregon & everyone everywhere else. Wet, rain & 40 with wind at 6 and a 21 mph gust.
Left Newport Wednesday morning for Bravo. Got mail and packages that had been forwarded that weren’t supposed to be. Got back to Alpha last night.
Stopped at Washington Street Steakhouse last night. They were backed up waiting line busy.
Have to get some stuff dropped off with people here. Later today, probably this evening, we’ll be taking off for NAS Whidbey. Would like to be at least as far as Lacey tonight before stopping & getting to Whidbey Sunday morning.
Good evening all. Yesterday was long with a trip to NE Portland for salon supplies and truck parts. Only thing redeeming about the area is the food. Found a great Thai place amongst the refuse so there is that. LOL. Finally got an email from Cabela's that my gun safe (merry Christmas to me!!) was ready to pickup so that worked out well since we were right there. Many things done in one trip. Home today tidying up. My parents over tomorrow then we head to the kids place for a change. Ready for it all to be over. On the plus side, there is more daylight everyday.
Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 39 & overcast at Ault Field - NAS Whidbey.
kind of a ho hum trip yesterday until we hit Fire - Tacoma. From there thru Marysville it was pure chaos. I have never seen so many idiots behind the wheel of a moving automobile in one area in my life. Can’t even begin to count the number of times someone made a lane change so close in front of us that we couldn’t see tail lights or license plates. The forward collision warning was on more than it was off. The rear view camera was flashing in the red rear proximity warning so much it I darn near turned it off. But, we made it. Might check the moose guard this morning to see how many shades of paint transfer there are there.
Gradkids are excited. Pretty sure they have had a full year’s allotment of sugar last night & won’t wear off until spring.
