Don't know anything about that, may not be as bad as Ethelyn glycol on bearings. or how messy it is, I hate the feel and smell of antifreeze , when you smell it it's never a good thing.
If you'd never done it before you'd be amazed how much oil and gunk you drain with the water after a rebuild. it's never pretty, I doubt it really hurts much but I like it gone.

There is nothing wrong with using that stuff. It's a good idea to always psi check the system first. To avoid air locks I leave the thermostat and it's housing off when filling it.

Just pull hose off of the intake heater hose port when filling, the port is behind the thermostat and highest point on block. Lots of good advice on a long post. Having carb pre adjusted on another running engine and timing spot on ahead of time with an oil pump prelube. Never had much trouble on fire up.
