Just pulled the trigger. I'm not sold on these in general, but with this price point the risk is low. Looking forward to trying this out @Mike-at-SolerEngr

Now that is a GREAT policy. Kudos to you and your company. I'm thinking to try one now even though I'm happy with how my truck drives. I'd be more interested to see what this could improve.

Thanks, we pride ourselves on customer service. Try it, think of your payment as a refundable deposit for a 30-day trial. It is really as simple as that.

If you're not highly impressed with their controller, I'll be surprised! Being able to access ALL the HP/TQ that these trucks have, stock, is pretty awesome! I was playing on the Ludicrous setting and just with it set on 4, it felt like I was driving a totally different truck! A big truck shouldn't be this quick on take-off!
I was on the fence about which unit to purchase. I was about to pull the trigger on a Banks until I saw this thread. I went with one from Soler and couldn't be happier. The customer service was outstanding and the device functions flawlessly. I have experimented and definitely like Comfort 4 / 5 as my every day setting. I will use Sport when I am just looking to mess around. What I got is a well designed product from a company that offers great service and at a very affordable price...
installed mine today and went for a drive. Definitely an improvement over stock. The manual controls, and phone app are both easy to use. Pairing the device to my phone was also easy. Unit seems to be well built, I’ll probably crack the case to take a peek at some point. All of this is to say that I think the product is worth considering. Soler seems to stand behind their product. I’m happy.
That's too bad... I am hoping to find something that controls the shift points as IMO the shifting down to get up hills is way too late and then ends up way too little after loosing 5 MPH it then tries to make up the speed it lost and is rather annoying, as the truck "could have made it up" the hill in 8th instead of going down into 6th...
I ran into the same thing pulling a 40 foot fifth wheel over mountains out west. 2020 F350 6.7L drops 5mph before Down shift on steep grades.
i’ve just learned to make the truck down shift with the pedal is soon as speed starts to drop. (Or before)
Okay everyone. I decided to order a unit and installed it just before dark last night. The install is easy although it is a lot more trouble for me to work under the dash now (60+) than it was when I was a teenager. I am not removing the unit. I just have it set to comfort 3 and I am much more pleased with the truck than I am with it stock. I am sure the other settings will be more fun but the comfort 3 is nice.
I do plan to try some other settings to see what happens. You need one of these controllers for your truck.
I haven't purchased a throttle control unit yet, mainly because my truck just arrived at the rail yard waiting to be transported to the dealer. I want to see what the throttle response is first before I lay down the money. However, if it's anything like my wife's 2018 Subaru Forester, I'll probably buy one. You press down on the pedal, and it seems like it's almost a second or so before anything happens. Most annoying if you are use to using a non-electronic throttle.
And someone at Soler must be fans of Space *****. I love the Ludicrous setting
I recently bought the SOLER unit and installed it in my 2019 6.2L gasser.
The unit does exactly what it claims to do, changes the throttle signal ramp based on pedal position.
What it does not do is eliminate the delay when you step on the accelerator pedal. It still has the delay before downshifting and applying power. This is what I was hoping would be eliminated or at least reduced. I suppose to truly eliminate that throttle delay will require getting a tune for the PCM.
I'm certainly not bashing the SOLER unit, it does what it claims to do. I think I had unreasonable expectations for it.

So it doesn't actually eliminate the throttle delay once you press down the pedal? That's disappointing to hear. I thought that was the whole point of these throttle controllers. So actually what they are used for is just to ramp up the throttle signals at a faster rate as you press down the pedal. I think you are right though once I think about it. One of the reasons to put in these throttle delays is to improve fuel economy. So that delay would be something they tune into the PCM. I'll do some digging into the Forscan spreadsheet to see what I can find.

That must be a 6.2 thing! On the 6.7, if you're in sport or ludicrous and hit the throttle, you better make sure nothing is directly in front of you! Ludicrous 4 turned my '17 into an animal! It didn't stay in that setting long or I'd be getting a ticket!

If you own a 6.7 Super Duty, there is no delay, at all! Sport and Ludicrous are, "get you in trouble, QUICK"! I've only played with mine on Ludicrous once and all I wanted to do was drive fast, it was so much fun! Comfort 3/4 feels fantastic! There's no lag and it drives fantastic! That's my every day setting and Sport 3, if I'm feeling Froggy!!

That's interesting to hear. I wonder what the reasoning is for having such different programming for the Diesel compared to the gas engine.
Glad to hear your having good luck with it.
I'm still searching for that feeling of having the accelerator pedal physically connected to the throttle. We shall see...
Currently it feels like the pedal is connected to the throttle with a rubber band!

I don't think it's a programming issue as much as it is the difference in HP/TQ available to you. The Powerstroke has gobs of low-end torque and being able to access every bit of it versus the computer rationing it to you, the harder you press the pedal is pretty impressive! My truck feels like a totally different truck now and I couldn't imagine how it'd run if it were deleted and had a tune on it.
