Don't trust Google Maps! Kids these days probably have never even looked at a paper map.
When I was a Batchelor living in an old run down rental I used maps to cover the walls, it was pretty darn cool if you ask me.
Conrads to Modoc on the bridge! What an accomplishment! I like projects that you can see a real improvement when done.

Thanks Tim, it was a long time coming but feels good to see the completed project.

They put him through the ringer when he criticized their sensationalizing white blonde woman incidents and ignoring pretty much everyone else. We have no idea what kind of pressure they were putting him through. I agree that it's pretty sad.

I think it's a bit of a stretch to suggest that simply having to read the teleprompter for several hundred thousand a year and not be able to write his own script caused a middle aged man to go off the rails with alcohol. My guess is he's been battling it for years and keeping it on the down-low.
