Good afternoon NorCal! Typical Redding today, started out at about 37* (depending on location) and headed to the low to mid 90’s! At least there is no smoke in the sky so far today, knocking on wood.

Have an enjoyable day everyone.

That is a huge difference between overnight temps and daytime temps. These high gas prices remind me of when Obama took office. If it follows the same pattern, look for auto & trucks with large engines to go on sale. Big factory rebates on SUV & pickups. There will be problems with getting a budget passed, unemployment numbers climb, then the stock market goes down. The last time, gold shot up,. With the supply chain shortages, and inflation, some of us may need to stock up on toilet paper.

If you have a bidet, you don't need toilet paper.

Happy Sunday Nor Cal.
Well, according to the weather guessers, this Thursday will have a high of 66. Currently. the outside temp is 62. Maybe, just maybe, the Summer of 2021 is finally over.

I can't believe I made it this far from the 70's. And got to see the clothes return to fashion. Ford is selling a 4 cylinder Mustang again. R.E.O. Speedwagon is touring again. Herpes and The Clap are making a comeback.

Everything is cyclical. If you live long enough you might see several cycles. Unfortunately, dementia may make the last one or two a little fuzzy..

Well in that case, I can't wait for 8-tracks, and cassettes to come back. Or LP records for that matter.

LPs ARE coming back. There is a bit of a boomlet going on for old vinyl.

Hey! One more thing! Today (Monday October 4) is National Taco Day . Seems that the powers that be could have made it October 5 so it would fall on a Tuesday? Oh well, nothing wrong with tacos two days in a row, is there?

There is a little food concession at the Home Depot in San Carlos that makes really great street tacos. My SO and I like to grab a few when we happen to go to that HD, and take them out to the truck; drop the tailgate, and sit in the shade munching on a street taco or two (or sometimes three).

I can live with tacos two days in a row. No complaints here.
