The story in the news was that Google Maps, with the road closures on 80 & 50, was listing hazardous detours. I tried Google Maps, and it gave walking directions straight up Highway 50, which is closed.

We see problems with Google, Bing, Apple, Mapquest, etal all the time. There are many minor roads up here that are not maintained for passenger vehicles and these bloody programs will send drivers on them as a way around. It has cost people some BIG tow bills and even some their lives.

My guess (as of this moment) is that one way or the other we're all gonna get covid. If you're vaxxed an boosted, you will probably not get sick, or have mild symptoms. The way that omicron is spreading, this will be over by 4th of July.
