Hello everyone, new here. I just picked up a 2015 F250 XL regular cab. It's my daily driver for now but that may change and just be used around the farm etc. Anyway, I'm upgrading a few parts to make the truck more livable. One is a keypad outside for keyless entry. I got it from Tasca online. It's got the right frequency and it seems like I'm in program mode when I cycle the ignition 8 times but the key pad won't connect. Nothing when I push 7/8 9/0. Anyone have any idea why?
Thanks
Yes. I watched a video where the guy said you need to do both keys as well. I'm not sure if I tried it without doing the keys. I can try that tomorrow. The small red light did light up when I pushed the 7/8 and 9/0 but the locks didn't unlock or lock.
It still won't work. The problem I'm having is when I get to step 23, one of the keys I have will cycle the locks and the other sounds the horn instead. I've tried the keypad in multiple scenarios, trying it without activating the keys, activating one key. It was attached to the vehicle, I took it off and tried it. Still nothing. Is there a way to do it through Forscan?
Thanks
You have all the methods in that pdf....2017 and newer require using the Ford IDS. Not sure FORScan will do it. Go to the FORSan website and search or ask in the forums.
