On to my next problem- I am getting a p1293, p1294, and p1277 when running the injector buzz test. All the injectors buzz, however they do sound inconsistent. On the driver side cover, I had found bare wires going into the valve cover, so I bought a new pigtail and soldered these in. The passenger harness looked OK so I left it alone. From what I have read, the 1277 relates to injector 7 which is on the passenger side. So far I have done the 50 cent mod, cleaned the valve cover harnesses and the big harness that these connect. The truck seems to run OK but it does seem like a slight miss. It starts up fine and does not smoke. I also ran the contribution test and it shows all OK except for cylinder 8, but from what I have read that it to be expected in many cases. I also notice more noise coming from the driver side which leads me to think its coming from #8 also.
I searched this problem and many have mentioned the IDM itself. Is it possible for all injectors to buzz, but still throw these codes if the IDM is bad?
The truck is a 2001 with 200k miles. I have opened the valve cover gaskets and it appears that at least 1 of the injectors have been previously replaced. I am sure it would definitely benefit from a new set of injectors, but I just want to make sure there are not electrical issues before considering replacing them..

I don't have any codes for my injectors, but i did have to replace my o'rings (drinking oil like a sailor on shore leave, and fogging the neighborhood)
also saw one of my injectors had been replaced with an alliant, makes me consider new sticks too
But she runs good for the most part so leave them alone for now
