HELP! UVCH/SHAKING/INJECTORS
I lost power in my truck it was the UVCH (under valve cover harness) had backed off, i tore them off fixed the harness and put everything back together.
MY truck still doesnt sound right, its just not smooth sounding, its has a rumble, im getting the p1316 (IDM codes detected)
between 50-70 im getting a gnarly schimmy in the truck, this has only happened today after i pulled the valve covers. Im wondering is maybe when the harness came partially unplugged if it could have shorted out an injector?
I wont be able to go anything until i take into a shop, but that want 200$ minimum for inspection to run a buzz test. any ideas???

Discount the batteries to get rid of the codes stored. Then rip it back apart and check your work. Check inside the connections for burnt pins. This all can cause strange things to happen. I'd do this before you take it to a shop that is going to tell you the same thing and maybe have you buy a new IDM.

Either pull the valve covers again or get out your ohm meter to figure out which valve cover to pull. Odds are you knocked an injector plug loose when you put one of the valve covers back on. Passenger side most of the time.
The symptoms of an unplugged injector is a slight miss when compared to a loose UVCH that shut down the entire bank and a CEL that throws the P1316 code.
