Parts interchangeability 2006

I just made a deal on a parts lot for $200.

Here is the list:

Rear bumper
Front fenders with normal surface rust
Fan shroud
Charge pipes
Battery/air filter holder
Washer fluid tank
Coolant reservoir
Power steering reservoir
Bottom rad hose?
Power steering cooler
Transmission cooler
Front Inner plaster fender wells.

Do all of these parts interchange with our 99-03s?

Thanks

No... 2006 what? I assume a 6.0 PSD?

Also, unless the transmission cooler is new, I would use caution in running it. It could have debris in it and could cause damage to your 4R100.

Hi. Sorry, I should have specified.

2006 Super Duty 6.0.

I am mainly interested in the rear bumper and most places want at least $200 for a used one.

Once I have the parts I’ll see which ones I can use and then look at selling the rest if I don’t think I’ll need them down the road.

Truck is running great and just got my new cab corners so will be doing those next week after my road trip this week.

Thanks.

Thanks for the info. Parts all fit in the box and I can still close my door on the truck cap.

I even have room for some tires so grabbing a set for my 2019 before I head back today.

I meant to ask you the other day how the new to you truck was doing? Hopefully it is exceeding all of your expectations!

The truck is doing great and is a joy to drive.

I picked it up about 14 years ago and used it to haul firewood and plow my driveway when I had a small 40 acre patch of land.

These days it only has to haul my skid steer around on those rare occasions where I have to move it farther than it’s worth driving.

I still drive the truck almost daily just because it’s a diesel and I enjoy driving it.

Cab corners showed up so when I get back I’ll be putting it back in the garage and prepping it for that job. Should be interesting getting those old bolts out to remove the seats.

I also ordered some sound dampening and sound insulation material for the cab and doors.

Not sure when, but at some point I’m pretty sure I’ll be taking it down to the frame and giving it a good refresh (bushings, paint, etc).

Thanks again for all of your help in getting it running again! It was and still is greatly appreciated!

Good deal! I know you had a pretty rough go with your 7.3L and I am pleased to hear you are the owner of a new to you and reliable vehicle.

Yes, I cruise through the forums a bit and as I keep learning more and more I’m more able to offer some advice from time to time.

I like the thought of passing help along where I can and contributing to the forum.

cheers!
