I noticed my power steering fluid cooler, the thing with fins that the fluid loops through, has a leak. This is a replacement one I bought at NAPA about a year ago. My original one was leaking so I had to replace it.
Do you think i need a cooler? Could i just loop it back to the power steering pump. I live in Central PA . I do not drive the truck on long drives. I use it as a work truck. It is on my 1970 F350 with a 360.
Will my power steering fluid over heat without a cooler?
Some trucks of the 80's and 90's return hose went back and forth on the front of the crossmember as Train mentioned. You would think road debree would kill them but I barely ever sold them. They are shaped too much of a Vee to work directly on a Bump. But you could form and attach your own.
