E99 f-350 7.3 4x4 I have an issue and I’m not certain of 3 things it could be. Any help would be great. Just had a low stall triple clutch billet steel torque converter installed along with a new flex plate and cooler line flush. The issue I got is still early lock ups ruff shifts and high tranny temp (200-220). With the truck idling for 10 on a cold morning it will start to shake then stall out but then restart again after a little effort. Transmission temps will get to 150 with just idling for 10 or so minutes. I have 6 codes on the transmission but the over drive light is not flashing. I will list those at the end. I have cleaned the harness connectors and still no luck so I’m unsure if it’s a bad ground, the whole harness, or the pcm. Also forgot to mention solenoids are a year old. Any help would be much appreciated thanks

You have a damaged wiring harness. Find the damage and fix it.
Hey thanks for the response this is what has happened since,
so I had a transmission shop take a look and they said it looks fine no codes and drove fine. After getting the truck back they said to look into doing a cam position sensor sense the 4r100 don’t have crank sensors and to install a new icp sensor. I’ve installed that and not much has changed besides the engine running a better. Not that the sensors would fix this but I’m still pushing 210-220 °f “city” driving and the interstate is typically 170-180 °f. At this point I’m wondering if it’s a clogged or bad cooler, and if I should look into getting a bigger one. Another thing I was thinking is if my pcm has gone bad due to my ts 6 position chip. But if so wouldn’t the whole engine act up? Last thing to mention is I have a new air filter (k&n) and I run the truck on a 50 hp tune daily and I’m getting only 100 miles per half tank. Could this be the computer/chip creating all these issues or the trans. No misfire no injector hazing and I’m not romping on the truck all day and I’ve fixed the diesel leak from my return line. Any help would be great.
You seem to be describing separate unrelated issues.
Transmission side, have you checked that the bypass hasn't jammed open? Do you still have the transmission error codes from before?
Engine side, do you still have an EBPV? If so, has it failed and is stuck at some position other than fully open?

My apology’s that was a little confusing, I was trying to see if the trans issue could have related to my major fuel loss issue as well. Speaking on what you had to say I have yet to check the bypass, but my EBPV is not stuck. The truck runs roughly 20psi of boost on a 50hp tune, easy idle, no haze, and no surge. I did a fuel filter 2k miles ago but will be getting one tomorrow to see if it will help a little. (Obviously not the whole issue) the weird part is, is that there is no diesel smell, any type of smoke, or misfire when idling/driving. I fixed a few fuel lines that would leave paper towel sized leaks in the driveway, but since then not a drop of fuel is outside the truck. Oil and coolant have no smell of diesel to them as well. I’m running 315/75/16 tires a new flex plate and low stall triple clutch torque converter as well as a 4 straight pipe and cold air. New ICP and CPS sensors on it too. Besides that mostly stock. If you have any other ideas I’m all ears. I’m sick and tired of spending well over 100 dollars every 200-250 miles. I typically drive 400-500 a week and a 7.3 short bed should be able to get at least 400 miles. With our “lord and savior” that price is gonna keep going up draining my wallet which I could use to solve the issue. I’m not positive if It could be HPOP or IPR issues so I’m going to do a test later today to see what the pressures are at and I’ll add those on here when I get them. Thanks!
A transmission issue that would cause that big a loss of MPG would have more symptoms than merely elevated transmission fluid temperatures. What might be a possible cause of both issues is dragging brakes. Are any of them dragging?

no dragging brakes replaced in the end of summer (august) with new calipers. And the trans issue was just early lock ups and slippage with the torque converter. But that’s has scince been fixed
3 codes just for exhaust and intake. We ran a buzz test, that came back good. We did a contribution test which came back good. But the only thing we saw (this relates back to the trans now) was my torque converter actual was at 328 rpm (should be at idle rpm) and desired was were it should be at 1020. Not sure if this is because of a low stall torque converter or something else. Sorry that this thread is all over the place y’all.
