i understand about the rain, my son lives approx. 65 miles south of us and he can't do much of anything his place is like a frog pond. Some time in june we finally got a break from the rain. Now we are getting our normal summer showers. Hope you get a break soon.

i messed up. In the process of putting a steel floor in a flair side bed i did not take the thickness of the original wood floor into consideration. This caused me a problem of a gap between the floor and bed sides.
hummm how to fix, the resolution i came up with was 2x1/8th inch flat iron to fill the gap.

Filling in the original bolt holes, the bed is modified to be completely bolted from underneath. I think it gives a cleaner appearance.

The front of the bed was painted before we reinstalled it on the frame. Here is a couple of pictures with it cleared
