A little more info on the truck
when i bought it, it came stock with a 302, 3 speed on the tree.
the clutch was rusted to the flywheel.
a little work on the points and she was running. My brother in law drug me around the yard while i was playing with the clutch it finally broke free. After that it was off to the races.
i never changed the clutch or worked on brakes everything work good.
i am going back with a slightly modified 302 and a m5r2 transmisson for the overdrive
the transmission was rebuilt by a very good local shop several years ago. The transmission only has 500 miles at most on it, then the truck was traded in. I bought the truck for 200.00 sold bed, cab, motor, and other parts. I came out good, i bought the truck for the tranny.
i have changed all the brake and fuel lines now.
with kits available online.
i just got a parts truck so i will converting the truck to power steering and power brakes. By the way parts was free had to go pickup, only went about 65 miles to get it so if radiator is good im ahead without the other parts.
Truck color test I think i like it I let my kids pick it out,not a good job. Paint gun decided to not work right. Makes it a good choice to paint bottom of cab to see.
This how she sits for now. My sons truck got wrecked so i am rebuilding it now, if the weather straightens up it is ready for paint. Jan 10th On a side note bought this 1993 f250, 351w and auto for 200.00. Needs fuel pumps. If i knew i was gonna get the 351w i would have built it up for 85.50 instead of the 302.
We have managed to get a little more work done on her Took motor back off of frame for rebuilding and painting More painting of motor parts Motor mostly assembled
