This is a slam dunk for a d-bag qualifier. Last night as we (Wifey, daughter, son, & me) were returning from a viewing for one of our customers that had passed away a few days ago, we stopped at a fish camp restaurant for dinner. The restaurant isn't fancy (I was in there) but it's got the ambience and the food is really good, hence it is usually pretty crowded. We sat next to a group of 6. Appeared to be mom, dad, and 2 adult children w/ spouses. We had the same server as they did and she was very attentive and did a really good job. They finished before us by probably 15 minutes. When our server brought us the check she was a little bummed so we asked her what was going on. Seems like the d-bags stiffed her! Wow, we were all pissed. I gave her $40 for the d-bags to make it right because she didn't deserve that. IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD A TIP THEN GO TO ZAXBY'S OR SOME FAST FOOD PLACE!!!!!! She told us as we were leaving they tipped her $5 on a $135 bill. What losers those people were.

That was extremely generous of you BTConvert---good on ya for maybe making that server's night a bit less BS.

I don't think of servers as "heros" or overly essential workers and I'm not prone to over-tip anyone but I agree if you can't afford to be fair perhaps better to visit a teenager-populated fast food drive through window.

I had the same kind of experience PT. Guy comes up to me in the parking lot and asks for money for gas so he could get back "home" to Ga. He had a lady & kids, I hesitate to say "wife and kids." I told him to pull to the pump and I would get him $20 worth of gas. This was probably 20 years ago so that was a decent amount of gas. Anyway, I was at the pump across from him filling up too. He kept looking over at me and finally I asked him what was taking him so long to pump $20 worth of gas. He said it was full (at about $7) I said that was fine, I would go and get MY change. He looked at me kind of funny and I told him I agreed to buy him gas, not jut give him money. He looked kind of perplexed but finished off pumping the $20. Some people.....

There is a "homeless" woman in an electric wheelchair that frequents the local Tim Horton's adjacent to my workplace. I gave her $2 years ago. But since seeing her hanging around there every day, I stopped at that after hearing rumours (which I have ZERO doubt to be true judging by her demeanor) that she got a hold of some elderly gentleman's ATM card and cleaned his bank account out. She knows, not to dare approach me and ask for money.

Closer to home, on one of our freeway exits, there is a woman that likes to hand out there, with a sign that reads, "I have two kids at home, and not enough money for rent and I am pregnant so I can't work". SMH

I have no problem with parking a big truck like that when it's left at the other end of the parking lot. But yeah -- taking up two spots by the door is a DB!

exactly, when I take my F450 to home depot I use 4 spaces (every parking spot is made for compact cars) but I park in the back of the lot. even with my '97 F250 there is only about 3 inches from my tires to the stripes.

Yep the crew cab F150 is so long it needs 1 1/2 parking spots length wise or it sticks so far out you ask for a front bumper or rear torn off.

I've posted in several threads about helping the kids repair and update the house they bought last Christmas. I just found this old marketing picture of the place and was shocked to see an Excursion parked in the yard! The Ex looks to be in bad shape, with a lot of rust on the roof and it being long overdue for a bath. But that fits. They had to work really hard to find an angle to photograph the house that didn't reveal too much about what it really looked like and the Ex and overgrown shrubbery blocks more than 80% of the exterior!

That's an interesting photo to be sure--always fun finding photos a few years old of something we know about now.

That Ex sure is need of some serious TLC---wonder whatever became of it?

Odds are its a 5.4 L with front timing chains, adjusters and cam gear drives terminal cancer. rebo long block assembly Dr. diagnosis. Suppose its lift the body off the chassis to replace the motor weekend. My friend had one across the street, it sounded like a front motor hell zone going on in there with it warming up.. they bought a Toyota Hybrid.
