Some times ideas seem fun but the thread isn't meant to go Politically controversial and argue motivated Political idealistic stuff, just fun dumb stuff that makes total ignorant fun, you know, dumb sense.

Maybe is screwed up the above Post, it seemed funny at the moment ! ?

Drive to the Humphrey Terminal and
approach the parking ramps from either 34th Avenue South or
East 70th Street.
Follow the signs to either the orange,
long-term parking, or the purple,
short-term parking,
and park your car.
Enter the Humphrey Terminal
through the skyway on the purple ramp. ↑↑↑

Been working on my kids house since late last year. In early January I had a contractor come in and do some destruction, siding patches, debris removal, etc. to speed up the process.

In mid March there was water under the hot water tank. Sigh.... I had already replaced the heating elements and thermostat so replacing the tank rubbed me the wrong way. But the next day the tank was dry. A week later there's moisture again that lasted only 1 day. I checked the seals around the elements, insulation, etc and everything in the tank was dry so I connected the supply and outlet hoses to bypass the tank. A week later everything was still dry so I started pricing water heater options.

Then the douche bag effect kicked in. I was touching up some of the siding repairs and went back into the garage. There's a lot of water around the tank. I peeled off the drywall, ran my hand down the copper pipe, and about 2" above the slab was a siding nail, run all the way into the pipe. The siding installer had missed the stud (about 3" away) and hit the pipe so squarely that it self sealed and didn't being to leak for more than 2 months! In repairing the pipe I realized that he'd actually put TWO nail through the pipe, one an inch lower to the one I'd first found!!!!

Gotta give him a douche bag award for not knowing where the studs are, behind siding that he's replacing, despite vertical nail rows every 24" down the cedar lap siding.

I have dealt with sort of the same thing with adding an addition, no water lines or electrical run but 10's of missed nails from the Framing Nailer my guys did. I cut them out but ended up buying a big side cutter and doing it myself. All the sharp nails make putting insulation and wiring in a PITA & I enjoy Insulate and Drywall Sheet rock stuff. Just not the taping and mudding and spraying and knocking down! Years ago I would have done it myself and not driven the nails so quickly like today, is like they are pre-programed to ****up **** ! Lol Yep the nailer double hit a lot. You can hear it as they move with the framing. Horizontally like flooring and framing walls before instal are perfect but the vertical walls, maybe they got spactal disorgantation !

I despise hard-coat, knock down, and popcorn ceilings. That a poor man's way of saying that the installation crew wasn't skilled enough to get it right.

But I do like the knock down paint. It adds a very small stipple to the wall that keeps it from looking like a kitchen wall.

Re: Tesla's autonomous or driverless technology-----is highly subject to unexplained and certainly unanticipated crashes out on the open highway. Tesla Driverless Crash

IMHO the supposed move to these systems will dominate vehicle travel in the USA especially on public roads becomes less and less likely as the fatal flaws such as the one above occur. Its a fantastic idea but maybe 100 years too early?

How many unexplained/unanticipated crashes occurred in other makes of cars supposedly with "attentive" drivers? Self-driving cars only have to be better than what we have now - drivers under the influence of myriad of things.

Wonder if they notice an LEO squad with lights on a mile ahead or the guy with the slow/stop sign giving hand signals. How about the school crossing guards or the lil ol person in his power chair ? Those lil ol people are constantly going to the Convenience store for Power Ball Tickets !

Don't know how many are driving dead tired and are gonna be asleep on their way to work every morning. 1000's ? Mayhem in construction ! I'm betting many will have missing minutes and hours of memory or dreams every morning. Heck the morning commute on a City Buss if not standing many are asleep on the seats. Heck a mid-air Collision is one of a Pilots main concerns. An that's a Sky that's 99.9999999999999999 % free of debris ! Heck his Controlled of a crash (landing) is autopilot activated too. There have been times foreign pilots not knowing how to land if the auto safety systems aren't working.
