Doesn't anyone use the chip sealer before the crack takes off? I carry one of these in my truck at all times and if I take a good stone hit and see a pit it gets filled before it takes off and I've used it after a small crack started and stop the growth, have extended replacing windows. It's not hard to do and takes no time at all and much cheaper than replacing windshields.
