Maybe @Sous could drop it off at AA for live tuning when he makes his next cross country trip.
Coincidentally... Kate and I were just discussing getting out west again and going by Portland OR to see her youngest brother. After making the "how y'all doin" rounds in ID and MT of course.
No need, as awesome as live tuning would be. Its running great now, just that tiny bit of return to idle bounce now and then when the tc unlocks. Its the best the truck has ever ran since I got it.
Good manners over more power for now.
And the payments......
Insurance......
License fees.......
The rear seat headrests and rear parking aid........
The cost to delete the EGR and SCR so the engine doesn't self-destruct due to ingesting its own lapping compound.....
The fuel system issues have come along way with the Disaster Prevention Kits, when the CP4 goes out nothing is contaminated. All that needs replacing is the pump.
I have been "building" a 2016 for heavy towing and the aftermarket for the 6.7 is fantastic. There are a couple companies that are similar to what RiffRaff is to the 7.3 that make a lot of parts for the 6.7. Not planning on anything over 500hp, they run really well around 480hp (40hp over stock) with an upgraded turbo.
Setting 00 is a bypass position on the Hydra. Meaning that the Hydra removes itself from the tuning and PCM strategy just as if the Hydra chip had been removed from the PCM. The tune on the PCM takes over and that is usually OEM, but sometimes a flashed PCM.
Even 250/100 injectors will start and idle on an OEM tune. If the issue is present in position 00, you have some investigating to do.
seems to run absolutely perfect no shaking at all in 00.

Well, at least now you have a baseline and irrefutable proof of the running condition on the OEM tuning. This will not likely make your battle any easier, but will allow you to move on to another tuner with confidence if it comes to that.
I truly hope you are able to resolve the issues you are observing and get back to a happy place.
