What happend to php, say they cant do vb tunes(stock line pressures) and now dont want anything but oem hpop.... Seems like they are headed out of the want to tume game
Eric I know it stinks but PHP said years ago that they were getting out of the tuning game to focus on other things. It was my understanding they put their tuning files into the Hydra library but stopped making new additions.

Still dont get the hpop comment though. It isnt like we get new tuning if we upgrade the hpop....
PHP also has in their titan purchase description(at least they used too), that if you dont see you file calibration they would add it.
They also said they dont do vb tunes, yet I found the one calibration for "stage 1" that has vb tunes, but they dont state nozzle size, and they regularly list both stock and %30 nozzles as stage 1.
I get they are into new stuff, but to just drop all customer service is not all that awesome.
Wow Finlander, thank you sir! No worries on messing with the order of the pictures, I have pulled the images down for my own use in the future that is not dependent on an internet connection.
Eric, our friend from Finland got me squared away, thanks for the offer to help figure out my path forward.
Yes it is very noticable, almost a loping bounce. Very annoying. With real light(just tapping to maintain speed) throttle with a heavy trailer it causes some bucking. Today a friend road with me, he doesnt even know diesels and he commented that it sounded very odd before I said anything
If it cant get it fixed I will send injectors@Bitterroot Diesel for testing/adjusting. It is that bad.
i have the exact same ****ing problem. Just re did the entire truck from the frame up. Over 40 grand into this thing. It is perfect and now have this exact same thing happening. When it cold starts itll idle perfect for 2 minutes with no shake. Once warm it will shake the whole truck back and forth. Every single thing was replaced and upgraded on this truck. Every sensor, every part. It almost has to be the tuning. It will accelerate fine but on decel coming to a stop sign the idle is erratic and almost seems like injector timing is way off. Every reading bounces all over. It has brend new 250/100s and a brand new irate fuel system in in. Jellibuilt custom tunes. Getting really sick of trying to figure it out. Hoping someone has resolved this
You mean "the stock" setting on the hydra? It does it in every tune option brian jelich sent me. So yes in 00 it still has the shake but not as bad. Definitely still isn't normal. Wish they made bigger cc split shots lol. Those made the truck idle smooth. Ever since i did single shots its never been the same

Setting 00 is a bypass position on the Hydra. Meaning that the Hydra removes itself from the tuning and PCM strategy just as if the Hydra chip had been removed from the PCM. The tune on the PCM takes over and that is usually OEM, but sometimes a flashed PCM.
Even 250/100 injectors will start and idle on an OEM tune. If the issue is present in position 00, you have some investigating to do.
Make sure your putting it in 00 correctly also. Some are not aware that you have to put it in 00 then turn truck off and fire it back up for it to actually go into 00 bypass mode.
I never did completely solve this.
It did it with the 160/0
It did it with 180/30
It did it less with AD30 split shots, but still did it
It still does it some, much less noticeably, with another engine, all new sensors, and stock AD injectors. It does it even less on stock tuning.
My conclusion, is it may be somewhat in tuning(think triple digit revisions and changes between all the tuners combined) but my biggest wonder is if it isnt coming from the transmission side, whether an issue, or more likely in my mind, the hd low stall tc, maybe unlocked it still provides more fluid coupling then stock therefore putting more load on the engine then the pcm is expecting. Just a theory. Maybe its because of 4.30 gearing I put in it.
At this point I am determined to just stay stock injectors and basic tuning, and basic turbo.
If I want more power, I will just buy a 6.7
