I just got deducted two points and I didn’t even kick a downed opponent in the head. What’s with the points system for infractions?

Are the infraction points deducted from my rep points?

 

Go to emergency room? Free standing radiology clinic?

Use ibuprofen to reduce swelling and for the pain. Or you can cycle 800mg ibuprofen then 4 hours later 1gm Tylenol then 4 hours later my Tylenol, etc.

You have hot tub?

Emergency room basically bandages you up and kicks you out or makes you wait like 10hrs for a specialist to come see you. For MRIs here, it has to be ordered by a GP or a specialist. It’s rare for a GP to order an MRI.

I tried hoping in a hot bath last night and that was a bad idea. What I have going on requires ice.

Im taking Tylenol and Aleve. I also have some muscle relaxers to knock me out so I can get some sleep. I thought I had Demerol in the medicine cabinet but it turns out it is actual morphine so I’ll be good until I see the doc.

If I lay flat, it’s all good. The more I move around, the worse it gets. I’ll survive.

The original injury that started this was a dislocation of the hip in 2007. Overcompensating from that and other serious lower body injuries like fibula and tibia fractures caused more over compensation putting pressure on the hips and lower back. The hips being all whacked out caused inflammation of the back. It’s a real shyte show down there. Hip started it but it very well could be a prolapsed disc, hip ligament failure or that I’m just a big kitty and need a nipple to drink out of a bottle. We will see. 😂

Hmm can’t use the other term for Kitty that starts with a P without it getting censored. Well played FTE

Edit: I should mention that I have a team of good support staff that has helped me manage this injury since 2008. A registered massage therapist (blind lady and damn is she good) and a guy that says he’s a pressure therapist. Kind of like a chiropractor but doesn’t rely on just cracking. I used to go 6 months between treatments but now I could use a treatment every week due to the progression. He won’t allow more than 1 treatment a month and advises to go the medical route of its that bad.
That is not possible with what I do for a living. It’s time to get to the root of the problem.

Its my second infraction. First was insulting another member but that was when I first joined. I have no clue what that one was over. Can’t remember.

 

Well driving 15 hrs the day after didn’t help. Every piece of soft tissue in that area is angry and inflamed. Cortisone shot and steroids for 10 days wouldn’t be bad either. Do you have walk in clinics? Chiropractor?

 

While in school I bartended at a famous college bar. Already had an ongoing fling with this one girl. She comes in one night with her girlfriend that I really didn't get along with. My friend whispers to me if I wanted to go home with both of them? I didn't need to be asked twice, get cold feet, got tongue tied or froze. I spent the next month living the dream!! We did everything together! (to be young again ...)

In the end I kept seeing the one I didn't get along with while the other girl got jealous and wouldn't talk to me anymore.

 

15hr drive definitely didn’t help. It helped stabilize the hip into place but wreaked havoc on the surrounding soft tissue. I lived on cortisone shots 2008-2010 and they did help but for a limited time.

My appointment on Monday is technically at a walk in clinic. With this clinic, appointment are scheduled every 15min but if you go as a walk in, the doctors always try to rush and get you out the door. Turnover is money.

Chiropractor, don’t get me started. They help some but my experience has been terrible for the 4 I have seen over the last decade. I added an edit to my post above which shows my support staff that I use. It works but it’s just masking the problem.

A few days of rest and I will be mobile again. I’ll have to be cautious but the pain will subside. I will explain the 13yr history to the doctor and specialist and see what they say.
