Nice pile of wood for one branch. Glad it didn't hit the house or truck. Maybe the next one will land on the snake then your wife can help

She's jumpy as hell. She screams if a lizard runs across the walk in front of her. She's got our dog trained to where when she hears Wifey scream she comes running because she knows there's something to kill. It has come in handy a couple of times lizards have got in the house though.
We expect to see some action shots of that tractor tomorrow. It's been a long time coming.

Well, actually it put one on us. After we got it cut up and piled up he left to do his own yard, but I was extremely grateful. We tried to give him one of those $50 Outback cards we have in my truck but he wouldn't accept it. Good neighbor. I started hauling this mess around back where the city will pick it up Saturday afternoon and got about halfway through before I had to call it and get ready for the evening activities. Went back at it this morning and finished it up about 1 PM. Wifey wouldn't help me any because she saw a snake in the general vicinity of the pile but she did get the rest of the yard debris picked up. Got it mowed and blowed and called it a wrap around 3. This kind of thing has us talking about downsizing and moving into a regular neighborhood. We've spent at least $10k getting tree work done around here the last couple of years, not to mention at least that much or more after hurricanes Matthew and Irma brushed by in '16 & '17. At least most of the ones that could fall on our house are gone.

That's a heck of a pile for one branch! Looks good now though.

Fingers crossed that I can post them. If it went in Friday it should be ready. If it went in Saturday then either Tuesday or Thursday. Wednesday is Canada day and they are closed.

Holy crap Bowtie that’s one heck of a pile. I think that makes you the manager of multiple branches. You’ve been promoted.

I hope those are the last branches I'll have to manage for a long time. That sucked! Builds character though...... Yeah, right.

Since my truck is used for work, I always have a work bag in it. Pants, t-shirt, socks, underwear and a towel in the bag for the times I fall in a creek or get a boot full of muskeg. Saved my **** a few times. Fell neck deep into the muskeg last year in April, froze my **** off.
