Sometimes you just have to talk it out.

Got one for ya.....I'm 18. Senior year summer school for us dudes who didn't get enough credits when playing baseball in the spring. State switched grad rules.

Anyway.....just like Van Halen. Hot teacher. After class she says...."so I've got an opening tonight for you to catch up on American Major Authors" while taking her scunchee out of her hair and retying it. Shakes hair.

Me.....oh no thanks I'm going fishing tonight at deer camp

Took me a year to figure that out and as you know I never forgot it. Rod man tape holder dude

Edit.....there's always someone who has f'd it up even worse

That's quite a motley crew. I grew up in BC, and had a lot of buddies that spent time on survey crews holding their rods in the forest. What is it about Canada that needs so much measuring anyway?

Ordered on July 1, and dealer gave the standard "six to eight weeks". Called today and he had no new info.

Well, I don't know if it was worse or not, but there was this time when I was a senior in high school. I turned 18 in March so I could legally be in a bar and I was at this fairly popular redneck hangout and had been talking my best (probably pretty stupid, really) trash and hitting on this 20 something year old bartender for a while. Finally, last call comes and I get ready to go and she calls me over. .I'm like, "Oh hell yeah!" Anyway, she was standing there with another girl I hadn't seen, maybe she was waiting tables, working in the back, or just got there, I don't know. I saunter over there all full of my 18 year old idiot self and she asked me "Do you think you can handle both of us?" Holy shxt! I froze, started mumbling something about having to get up early to go fishing or something, and then it was over. She looked at me with that "I didn't think so, big shot" look and walked off. Needless to say I didn't go back to that place again and it took me a while to get over it. Talk about being humbled.....

Anything from a new house to oil field exploration requires surveying. All about property lines and it’s the same thing in the US.

When I met my wife, I told her I was a surveyor. She was like, so are you the person with the clipboard in the shopping malls asking people to take a survey? Yes babe, exactly. I don’t survey anymore but still involved with the industry.

This kind of reminds me of a time when I was always flirting with our normal breakfast waitress. I was away for work and we always went for breakfast after our morning meetings. She ended up texting me a lot and one night she texted me “come make me feel like a woman”. Me being the smart **** I am said, so you want me to come over so I can tell you to do the dishes 😳. Of course, I went for the comedic statement. She didn’t text back that night. I was a couple hundred KMs away so I knew I wouldn’t be going over for the oil change. I ended up dating her for a bit but then met my wife.

Thank you for noticing the alphabetical order. I printed out the alphabet and cross references to make it happen. 👍

At least he didn't use the metric alphabet.
