Most all scientist that I know now lean towards Intelligent design and are very hard pressed to accept that it was Random......

In regards to the Quantum World, isn’t that just theoretical physics? This isn’t even close to my area of expertise. I would say my level of math is all trigonometry based due to land surveying and pipeline engineering.

This thread started as alien abduction and is going in to theoretical physics now? (That’s not a sarcastic question) How does theoretical physics apply to alien abduction.

 

Being far, far too cynical to believe too much in the "other worldly" vein like religion etc etc etc I'm often reminded of a line from Jethro Tull's album liner notes saying "And in the beginning man created god......" which to my mind speaks directly to humankind's desire to attach meaning to events that are most likely nothing more than random and easily explained instances, If they're not easily explained then they're just as easily forgotten or put out of mind.

With all the talk over the past 2000 years we don't seem to be any closer to explaining alien abductions or anything else of a similar vein. Hell we can't agree on WHO really shot JFK and that was totally an earth-bound human action--or was it?

I do like the "don't know SHIP...." bit---very insightful if true, funny if not. The repressed memory of delivery room recollections is interesting as well---could be something to how the human mind acts or behaves that will always baffle us.
