I need to brag on a dealer and Ford Roadside Assistance
When we found the truck was leaking I went down to Dunn Ford in Lewiston ID. The service manager was totally uncaring about our problem and offered to look at it Aug 15th. No way we could wait that long to go home to Oklahoma.
My Oklahoma dealer got me in contact with Roadside Assistance who contacted Jess Ford in Pullman WA. The service manager, Andrew went over and above to help me. Roadside sent a truck to haul it and as soon as it arrived in Pullman they went to work on it. Called to let me know the issue and they would try to overnight the part instead of normal 5 days. This was all on Monday the 20th and today he called and said truck was ready and would deliver it by 10 tomorrow morning
I wish all dealers would be like this..
I would contact the 1st dealer, speak to the manager / president / owner and tell them your experience..they may not know what happened..and mention to them that you will be contacting Ford Headquarters to file a complaint.
Contact Ford Corp and tell Ford how unsatisfactory / disappointing your whole experience has been since you received this new 2020 truck and how you were treated at the 1st dealer. How they wouldn't see you for 4 weeks...being thousands of miles from home. How can Ford allow this kind of service of their dealerships? You purchased a 2020 Super Duty... You should be a priority and not be put at the end of the line.
Also let them know how grateful the WA dealer stepped up , the persons name and how he stepped up the service and got you on the road in days and not weeks and THIS is how you would expect ALL Ford dealers treat their customers...who own a new truck or truck under warranty.
Have a nice remainder of your visit, Have a safe trip home and best of luck
Agreed @Ding126 . Customer service has become so poor, we have to force a change by aggressively complaining about the lazy and ambivalent. Conversly, we need to shout from the mountain tops when a business goes above and beyond.

I know a lot of folks in the Seattle area go to Idaho to buy new trucks, due to much lower prices. Perhaps they make up for that by skimping on their service departments?
We left Lewiston ID yesterday, today outside Sheridan WA I noticed my tailgate was covered in tranny fluid. Stopped at Ford dealer and guess what? the same dam seal blew.
I am afraid it going to take a month to get home to Oklahoma

I believe I would buy some fluid and hit the road. If it melts down, it’s covered under warranty.
there is no way to add fluid. Has to be added some where under truck. As a disabled person blowing a tranny in the middle of nowhere is not an option
However when I make it home it might happen.
If they won't replace transmission I will be getting rid of the truck
Wow that sucks that you're having so many problems with that truck. Sounds like you have one built on a friday or monday. Makes you want to light a match to it and burn it and collect the insurance money(I know it's not legal). Its frustrating I'm sure. All jokes aside, keep your records and you should qualify for a lemon law buyback. Depending on your state, if it's been in a shop so many times in 18 months, you can qualify for it. If I were you I would look into it now. Best of luck and I hope you can get it straightened out.
I am checking Oklahoma lemon laws. The way I read it repairs must be made at least 3 times for the same thing. So I could loose 2 output seals and 1 input and lemon law Wadley Ford in Paul's Valley OK
