yes 6.2,, first ford in many years, last ford i had was a 2000 F250 7.3, with a banks kit, no problems, but i sold my unimog so i no longer needed the big truck.
1300 mi and today I have a huge puddle of motor oil on my diive.
Need an alignment as truck won't track straight
Glove box is broke
Seems people are just looking to bash the 7.3. (Not directed at the OP per say but looking at replies to this and other 7.3 threads.) 2 of the listed problems are not 7.3 issues and my wife’s 2019 Expedition with the Ecoboost had an oil leak after delivery. (Not a new engine design) It seems that many, if not all, the “issues” that come up are more quality control issues than any type of new engine problems. Which can happen, and probably does, to every engine and body type off the line. The 7.3 is just under the microscope right now.
I haven't experienced any issues with mine, and I regularly use it to haul vehicles up and over I-80 Donner Pass. Getting 11-12mpg, and I really like the way the 10 speed transmission applies engine braking to maintain speed when the cruise is on coming down the hills.
Ford is no different than any other auto manufacturer, get them rollin down the line, we ll fix them at our discretion, or when we get mandated by the feds. there will always be problems with mass production, I think ford is making a gd product for the my range, for me was $52,000. ( same price i paid for my 2016 tundra) If i needed bigger truck, I suppose i would go the same route. Though im digging the power wagons if i stay in the 250 range.

Not a complete new engine design but if my memory serves my right, it was a new oil pan design made out of plastic instead of steel. F150s had the same “oil leak as soon as i got it home from the dealer” problem. It was across the board on all the F150 engines leaking bc of new plastic oil pans.
It was another GM-ish first design failure situation from Ford. This didn't used to happen with Ford back in the day. Ford used to get it right most of the time, the first time.
Nothing is perfect, especially auto makers. I can tell you that out of thousands of 7.3l builds some are going to be low on blinker fluid-no big deal. My 7.3 is kicking a$$ and I love it. Let us know what the issue is. We appreciate the knowledge. Good luck 🍀
