From what I’ve been able to decipher from looking at lots of differently equipped trucks, it looks like on the XLT trim level you indeed get the 8” Instrument cluster with ultimate trailer tow camera package. You also get the 8” instrument screen if you get the Tremor package on an XLT like 5 Star’s is equipped as theirs doesn’t have the camera package. It baffles me that this isn’t documented ANYWHERE in ANY Ford literature.

Unless It has changed the heated seats on the XLT premium package also isn't obvious. You have to dig deep into the trim specific options break down for that info

I'm considering, for 5th wheel towing, the 7.3 over the 6.7 so following this thread closely

Thanks!

What gear ratio did you get? Please report performance and MPG, in getting real close to pulling the trigger.

Small Update!

Our first quick tow this morning with our 2020 F250 7.3L v8 ! Even though a light load at 5260 pounds . In stock form still , for those of you that have a new 2020 Super- Duty 10 speed on order , you will be very pleased to know that the difference between the out going 6 speed and this 10 speed is an almost night and day difference (my 2 cents). smooth , lugs a little part throttle, needs little more engine braking but the gear ratios in the trans are exactly what the Super Duty needed keeps it in the power range while mid to full throttle on excel! I am very pleased how it did on this quick tow to get some tare weights.

Thanks for doing this. Am I reading that right and truck only is 7020lbs with the 7.3? That’s a lot lighter than I thought it would be!

Interested in the new 2020 7.3 with the 4.30. Might trade the 2017 6.2 in if it does better towing and mileage.

Hey 5 star, which would you recommend .430's or a 3.73 differential with new 10 ten speed 7.3?
I now own the 6.2 with 4.30's. I admit, I am concerned about my MPG's I trailer 14,000 lbs occasionally but haul 2000 or 2500 lbs frequently

Thanks.
