5 Star's 2020 7.3L SD Power and More ...

@fordmdb Any chance that you can overlay a Stock 3.5 Eco with the 10 speed and a Stock 7.3. While the peak TQ are similar at the crank I would like to see the entire RPM range and how each engine puts the TQ down. My travel trailer is about 8,500 loaded and I will be upgrading from an 18 F150 3.5 with 3.55 4x2 to an F350 in the near future. My truck weights 5k on the dot, and I’ve never found myself needing more power.
When I make the trade I will be increasing the curb weight of the TV by 40% to 50% thus very interested in how the 7.3 is putting down the TQ.
From what I’ve been able to see, it seems like the 7.3 is putting down about 20% more TQ below 2.5 RPM and around 5% less over 3k.
I live in Texas so I don’t climb many grades as much of our camping is within a 500 mile radius of DFW or out East to the FL panhandle. Much of the time the eco is able to accelerate and lives in the 2.5 to 3k RPM range. By what I am seeing by interpolating and accounting for the heavier SD I might end up with a similar towing experience with regards to powertrain drivability. I know that suspension wise and ride quality loaded will be night and day difference.
I would appreciate the graph if possible. And while I’m requesting, 3.55 gears on each truck if able. Thanks again

i just tried it on a f350 and if i select the 3.55 it says the diesel is required for that selection. if you skip the gear selection and go straight to package selection and chose the tremor it gives you the 4.30s. on the 7.3. if you try and pick any other package it says tremor package must be removed.

i would also really like to see the 7.3(3.55) compared to my 16 3.5(3.73).
