[QUOTE=fordmdb;19049995]good points on all subjects, i dont want to turn this into a battle of warranty or a 6.2 vs 7.3 . but our position on these subjects is this. i would agree you wont hide anything from Ford but just like larger tires, suspension mods , electronic device , adding does not just void ,its all subject too.(read ford warranty guide) but as with anything in life do your research make sure its something you want to do and pick a quality company and you wont have any issues. in general. trust me i get it.. Now as for the 6.2Lvs 7.3L i have towed the same load (3 months ago) with our 2019 F250 6.2L with 3.73 gears and it would do this same trip in 3-4 gears (3rd mostly) and yes at higher RPMS but like the 7.3L it got the job done and i walked away impressed how it handled the weight. The 6.2 is a solid choice and to be honest i didnt want to trade it in on the new 7.3L but thats our business and we need the vehicles for development aka there our tools . Have a great weekend ill be towing again with the 7.3L this weekend lighter just some ATVs .
Well said. I am still on fence in getting a tuner for my 6.2. I think once the 3 year warranty is out i may get it it done with 5star. Or if I get a 2k PCO
I may switch to a 7.3l. One never knows! Keep up the great work!

I have 57,000 on it already. It's ripe and at the sweet spot for trading. I've had two guys hounding me to purchase it. One is trading his dodge and buying mine from the dealer. Its a win for both of us, tax wise. One option I wanted was manual shift 4x4, but it's no longer available.

[QUOTE=Mkos1980;19050317]That sounds like a plan. We are headed to Colonial Williamsburg with our camper in July. I wont be making any moves on a vehicle. I cant get an option on 2020 that I have on my 2017 plus mine is just getting broke in!

Wow the 6.2L gets defended on this forum. Even when it's not attacked. Guess anything positive re 7 3L is a direct attack on the 6.2L. Folks cant accept the new girl in town might be cuter. Why did Ford even bother to design a new big gas option. Does nothing better. Only advantage is 7.3L.is cheaper to build. LOL. Seriously its ok if its replaced with a newer better engine. It happens to all of them eventually. :
Save me the "why is it better".

Not really thinking of that one big gust,.more like after days and days of towing, perhaps at the end of a long trip of thousands of miles, at dusk, you look over at your wife, or glance at the dogs in the back at the exact time a speeding semi passes you on a bridge just as that wind gust passes through the canyon. Might be nice to have that bit of protection against driver inspired over correction. Same with adaptive cruise, regular cruise works just fine, but adaptive is safer and more efficient. My first truck was a 55 Ford, I'm not ashamed to embrace the new safety features coming down the road and that are already here. Even if it takes the "feel" out of some of the driving. YMMV

LOL, what i don't need is to sit around waiting for some forum jockey to tell me if the 7.3 can maybe tow my trailer. You can hit is 10 times with a 3 lb hammer or once with 15lb. I have a rule, always buy more than you need. No sense p!$$ing around with a tool that will "just" get the job done when there's one out there that will make it seem easy.

I can't get the 6.2 in a F250 Lariat so no debate for me. I'm more curious to see 7.3 v 6.6 battle results.
