Are you referring to the Adaptive Steering option, or was the regular steering upgraded? I didn’t order adaptive steering option because I figured it wasn’t worth $1000 to save a few turns of the wheel in a parking lot, but if anyone thinks it is a worthwhile option, I would certainly be interested to hear.
Also curious if you have noticed any difference in unloaded mpg’s between the 3.55 and the 4.30 Tremor?

Thanks for posting your findings. Interesting the 7.3 has 4.30 gearing and the 6.2 has the 3.73 gearing. Not really comparing apples to apples. And the 6.2 is still close in numbers. Would like to see the 7.3 towing in some hills or over some passes in Colorado. That will be interesting. Thanks again--good information here.

I cannot speak for whether the 4.30 help the 35" tires on the dyno. We do know that the 4.30 will absolutely help the 35's on the street.

The 2020 model has electro-hydraulic steering. I think they added it so the trailer backup assist could take over and backup your trailer for you, like on the F150.

ok ill play along just for fun , definitely not apples to apples with runs in diff gear ratios and trans ratios but why not, 4.30 vs 3.55 vs 33 inch tire vs 35 inch tire
lowest blue line is tremor 430 6th gear , different days
green line is 3.55 blue truck 5th gear , different days
and top blue line is tremor 4.30 in 7th gear before it hits speed limiter , ha ha makes more power in that run , well kinda LOL

I do not own a truck with adaptive steering, or have I ever driven one. However I do not plan on buying the next truck without it. Not to save the turns in the parking lot, but towing. Seems if one was traveling at speed and a sudden gust of wind hits the truck, adaptive steering would reduce the possibility of over steer I would think. At least that is my reason for consideration of that option.

I drove a Platinum 7.3 with 3.55 today. I was very impressed, night and day difference in feel from the lone 6.2 I test drove. The 10 speed is amazing. I can agree the numbers on the dyno do not agree with the way it drives compared to the 6.2. A not quite 20 mile loop of mixed driving got 12.8 on the gauge.
