It's a common issue around here. Bicyclists blowing through stop lights and stop signs.

 

I see it here from time to time, but what makes them think adding another red light will stop the bicyclists from running it? They are already running a red light, now they will just be running two. And their notion of it being the bicyclist fault if he/she runs the bicycle red light is ridiculous. If they run the main red light it is already their fault.

Bicyclist are often seen on I280.

 

At least they're not running red lights when they're doing it. OTOH, if they are in the fast lane, I might have issues...

 

I call them volunteer victims. They want to get hurt.

LOL. Tell me about it. Woke up at 3am due to my grand daughter making too much noise in the living room. So I decided to stay up for a bit.

I wish. No, the 18 year old was not taken by CPS since she is 18, and was not there the day they came and took the others. She is living with me as my daughter and her boyfriend are currently living in my old Thunderbird.

Bought the bird today. $0.59 per pound. Now it's a nervous game of waiting for the turkey to defrost. They stay rock solid for at least another week and a half.

 

Good thing I have no plans to cook my own.

Jim, Glad to hear your not near the fires, they sounded bad. How many grandkids do you have? Sounds like a bad deal. Any chance of getting custody of them?

 

I have 6 grand kids. Three boys, and three girls. The girls are 9 (soon to be 10 on Christmas Day) 12, and 18, the boys are 2 and a half, 5, and 17. The two girls are sisters, and are in the same foster home. The two older boys are in the same foster home as each other but in Madera. And the baby is in a foster home by himself in Lemoore. The older boys are half brothers, same mom different dads. Same with the baby. The oldest boy and oldest girl are brother and sister. The baby is a half brother to all of the rest. Gets confusing at times especially for this old fart. Basically six kids with four different fathers. They will not give me custody, and I am still trying to get a straight answer from them as to why. Of course, there is no way I could have all 6 of them live here on a permanent basis as this is a very small one bedroom apartment. Of course, if I were to get custody I would let section 8 know, and the food stamp people and get them both upgraded. But for now, it is a moot point. They are basing their decisions on Hannah's past encounter with them, and a lot of the reports about her back then were falsified. Makes it tough. I have been told I am now on the visitation list, so I will at least be able to see them an hour a week, that is better than not seeing them at all.
