Love the build. I built my v10 last year and couldnt find anyone to regrind stock cams or any cores to have ground. Any suggestions? I feel all my time, money, and effort to build my motor was half wasted since I am running stock pi cams. I did flat top pistons, eagle rods, new ford crank, full port on heads and intake, bbk twin 65mm tb, bigger valves, better springs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The BBK throttle body does nothing for these motors, over in the excursion forums we discovered the Accufab SCTB9698 makes a quite large difference in power band, even on a stock motor, i did mine on a modded motor much like yours and it was like a whole new truck.
The Accufab is a wide open single blade borrowed from a cobra but it bolts right up perfectly, and works so fricken well

I'm currently in the process of manufacturing cams, No valid testing yet and it's taking awhile, Im doing a set for the guy doing a 4v V10 engine, Then finishing the blanks i currently have on the shelf. Todd Warren has them for around $1,650 if you don't want to wait awhile for me to finish mine.
So how long are you thinking on your cams? I would like to put cams in my truck but I also have another v10 I am building for a 54 Mainline that I want to twin turbo and will need cams for that also. My truck needs to pass emissions but the 54 wont.
Kinda off subject here. I posted another tech question but am now wondering if anyone here has had an issue with your v10 idling like it has a big cam. It cleans up at about 1500rpm and runs great from there. But at idle it is choppy and will try to push trough the brakes at a light.
