Slow throttle response

I just bought 05 f250 6.0 harley Davidson edition. So I don't know a lot about it. 131000 miles. My problem is slow throttle response. If I step into it slow and let boost build then it will take off. But if I just step on it then no response. Does not matter where pedal is. So I was reading post about the ficm and I could see that as a problem but they were talking about cold start problems I don't have that. I also read about the high pressure oil pump as a possible problem. So I don't know if it is maybe one of those problems or what considering just reselling it.

Sounds more like a turbo issue, but you need to get a good code reader and a scan tool or you will just be guessing (which gets expensive quickly).

Oh, and I highly doubt it is the HPOP.
