I have a new-to-me 2011 F250. I'm having trouble getting used to the delay in the throttle when I take off from a stop. I have searched on here and I do not believe that I have the dead pedal syndrome. It has never gone dead. It just feels like you have to keep pressing it farther and farther down before the engine/transmission begins to move the truck. I have gotten somewhat used to "stabbing" the throttle part way down and then start slowly adding throttle and can get it to behave fairly "normal", but if you stab too far, it really takes off.
You should have it checked by the dealer. Sounds like it could be a throttle position sensor problem since it doesn't sound like either the other "sluggish" acceleration issues; slight turbo lag and a total no-go condition caused by 2 footed driving.

It wouldn't hurt to get this in front of your dealer, Chris611; they'll be happy to check things out. Touch base with me after your appointment if you need my assistance. In your PM, be sure to include your full name, best daytime phone number, VIN, mileage, and servicing dealership.
