The weather isn't being kind to us farmers this year so that means less truck driving time as well thanks for the motivation!
Well, it sure is a beauty so far.... I know you can't wait to get that bed on.
Set backs do suck... don't they?

Hang in there!

They sure do but that’s part of the process...if it was easy you wouldn’t appreciate it as much! Did you get the cab of your flipped on it’s back to reach the underside?

I haven't done that yet. Last time I was under the cab, it looked really good under there. I am going to try to get around to pulling the bed this weekend if I can find some strong backs and weak minds.....LOL.
When I get the bed pulled, I should be able to put the chicken eye on my cab.

Anyone know where to get a replacement panel for the passenger side rear corner of the bed? Ordered one from LMC but it doesn't wrap around the corner enough to cover my repair area. Any tips or suggestions on other panels from different suppliers or anything would be great!

I looked there but they don't provide the measurements I need to make sure the corner wraps around enough...plus they don't have pictures for all of their parts so I want to get the right one. Thanks for the reply though mike!

Could you maybe add some sheet metal to the piece you have? I'm not sure what the gauge is... Looks like you have the hard part done with the patch panel.

That's what the attempt was going to be unless someone in here had an idea or knew of a piece that in fact wrapped around the whole corner. I know you need some room there to weld the new piece in but 2 inches worth?!

There is also the possibility of re-skinning one or both of the bed sides. There are a few FTE builds where this was done or is being done that you'd want to check out first.

Here's the drawing for the spacings. Trying to find some pics of the cabs lights.

Edit* found an old and new picture on my phone. If you need better pics I can get more.
Also I may have more older pictures on my computer

I had the same prob but don't remember where they came from. I welded in what I had and made custom pieces to fill in the rest. I completely rebuilt both sides completely. I remember having a hell of a time getting the new panel positioned correctly. Seems like the profile was off a ways and had to "modify".
