17" methods on 35's. 4" lift I painted the outer ring black.
Looks great. Are there any downside to 17 inch wheels? I'm thinking about doing the same to get a little bit more sidewall. Are those wheels hub centric? Do 17 inch wheels have a lower carrying capacity?
I taped off the wheel and shoved 3x5 index cards between tire and wheel to prevent overspray on tires. The bolts are removable, so I removed them all and then scuffed the ring with some 400 grit sandpaper. Spray painted with VHT wheel paint., reinstalled the bolts. 9 mos in and no chips yet. Shot the hubs with same paint.

Im not sure of any limitations with the 17's, The bigger sidewall and a milder tire made the ride wonderful compared to my old setup with 37's on 20's. Quiet and comfortable now. Not sure on the carrying capacity and these are lug centric, not hub centric. .
I had a question...I am looking at getting a set of Method 305 NV, is it worth the extra $50 per wheel to get the HD version? I have a F250 coming in and don't know if I need the 4500 lb rating of the HD wheels vs the 3640 lb rating for my truck. Thanks!
I am in the market for wheels as well. i have a big camper that i haul in my bed so for me i would spend the extra$50 per wheel and leave nothing to chance.

Yeah I guess I was thinking that since I am getting an F-250 my payload might be restricted enough that I don't need HD wheels. But I guess you're right, for 200 bucks why risk it.
