Good morning everyone. Got together with a friend at the local bar last night to catch up and play some pool, and may have had one too many beers. Slight hangover this morning
Morning all. It's Friday and got a retirement party to attend tonight in Tualatin. It's be a big deal with 11 taps and a big outdoor venue. I'll have to behave myself and try not to have my own hangover tomorrow morning.
Evan - I could see where an AR10 would be a little bulky and heavy after seeing how heavy an AR15 can get. My main deer rifle is a Howa as well. I really like it although I don't shoot it enough. Hope to change that once I get my 100yd range set up. Here's a little buck I took a few years ago.
Jim - Nice shooting. I don't know enough or shoot enough bigger caliber to know any difference really. I do know that the x39 is pretty cheap and available when the ammo hoarding starts. It was never an issue to buy x39 anywhere when .556/.223, .308, and .22 were scarce. I'm glad to see .22 rimfire is back on the shelves and I'm stocking up on that every time I see it on sale somewhere or at a decent price. I'm not going to be caught empty handed when the next shortage hits. UPS dropped off some more steel targets yesterday so my little range will get a little more fun.
Shoot I missed that one. I pick up some of the Rem .22 they had on sale 500 for $20. Got some of the Federal 325 packs for $12 that I used to get for $17.Figure if I can stay in the 3-4 cents/rd I'm doing ok.
