its been in my family since it was new and has never seen snow
I like red too. This is my 64 galaxie. No deleting of gas over here. Snow and salting of the roads put an end to my fun for the year. I call it in-salting

I drove both my trucks today. SO you could say I deleted some gas but I releted some gas into the 54. It was beautiful today... no salting or snow yet.
As long as its dry and salt free I'll drive oe or both on nice days.
COE, where are you from that you've got snow and ice already?
The S&H Greenstamp warehouse for all their stuff was in Hillside IL next to the Eisenhower expressway. They closed you can't cash them in anymore in case you didn't know or were still living in the past with your oldtrucks.
I used to be a Chevy car guy. At one point I had 3 old vehicles bought in this order: the 57 Bel Air, The 54 F100, and the 55 210 model. Then I got a job teaching and had to move away from home and discovered that I couldn't afford all three. I sold the 57 in 1981 since of the two cars it was in the worst shape. Then I sold the 55 in 1984. I had no garage for it and i used that money to buy an engagement ring. I miss the car but I still have the girl! But through thick and thin I've kept the old truck. In hindsight I should have put one of the Chevys up on blocks at my parents farm as there were lots of garages and tractor sheds. And then restore it when I had the money. I would have been $$$ ahead since I can't afford to buy one now!

Love your Galaxie, when I was a young boy I always said that's what I was going to have when I grew up, never had one so I guess I'm not grown up yet...
