Hmmmm... Can you believe my wife made me go with her to eat Chinese.
I had chicken broth while my beloved ate egg rolls, rice, General tso's chicken...
I feel payback is warranted here..
After a day drinking that magic stuff... I have nothing left to delete.

That's what I love about the south. Hope the results are favorable Ben!
Deleted a couple gallons of paint today. One more coat for the crown moulding then I can delete some finish nails. Crown mould is for a different project though so will have to move it first.
Oh and I deleted a mouse nest from this rust bucket earlier this week out in my warm garage!
Picked this engine up about a year ago in northern arizona. Had been sitting out in the dirt upside down with no intake manifold on and nothing covering it.
Was suprised to find no rods and pistons which was really nice since they would have been stuck anyway.
Only 9 stuck valves and standard bore plus lots of rust. so far no obvious cracks so might be a builder after derusting and machining.
At least it came apart easy.
Josh , is the crown mldg. going to be installed in a flat & sq. house / rooms . The one pic looks like a sloped ceiling ( maybe an opitcal dillusion ) . Have had way too much experience installing crown mldg 31 1/2 deg. on the tllt & 35 deg inside corners & 34 deg. outside corners that is assuming all is sq. which usually never happens . I do the same as you w/ it finish first then all is needed is some nail hole filing and very minor paint touch up .
A sloped or cathedral ceiling would take some trial & error test fits . Good luck .
How do you address the joints , 22 1/2 deg glued & pinned miter joint . 45 deg . glued & pinned miter joint or glued biscuit joint ?
I agree that in most cases a lot of heavy rust is a no go but I'll bore it out and let it sit a while see if any black creeps in and or bore larger. Worst case sleeve it.
Different dance floor, too many projects going at once. This one still needs the poles attached !
Picture does look somewhat distorted. Its a flat ceiling in this portion of the building the other portion does have a sloped ceiling so the couple places I'm doing crown there I will for sure have fun figuring out the slope and end cuts. In pretty new at doing crown so painted is the way to go so I can caulk and painters putty in my mistakes. Guys doing hardwood crown are amazing.
Sad thing was I picked up about 220 feet of the same profile crown but all different wood and stains and not enough of one type to do a room so I painted all of it to be able to make it work for me. That crown is going accross town to an old house 1896 with a mid 50's addition that is now ready for finish touches after new pretty much everything...
