Speaking of "deleting", I had my garage/work shop propane tank filled on Nov. 9th. Over the week-end, the tank appeared almost empty. I called the propane people today thinking that they never really came on the 9th. They said, "No, they came, and the tank was filled".
Bottom line the tank really is empty, my heater really did burn the fuel, and it took 90 gallons today to re-fill the tank! I guess I was horribly mistaken thinking I could heat an uninsulated space in Wisconsin in the "Fall".
The first few days I had the thermostat set at 50, but then I went down to 40, and finally to 35. Now the things I didn't want to freeze are inside and the heater is turned off. For now the "deleting" has stopped.

LOL! We may have hurricanes and flooding and heat and humidity, but our low so far has been 42, highs still in the low 80's. Our wallets get deleted with AC during the summer when the humidity is close to 100% and the temps are close to 100 degrees.
Ironically, now that the heat is turned off, our temperatures outside have warmed up. It was above freezing for most of the day today, and almost all of our snow is deleted. Propane for heat or electricity for A/C--one way or another--a certain about of "deleting" is going to happen. That's just the way the world works.

P.S. In Saskatchewan, where real men like Morris pull in their fire wood with bicycles, they probably don't mess around heating their garages. They just go out bare handed with their flannel shirts and wool pants and do what needs to be done--no deleting necessary for heat or air conditioning. BTW, I'm thinking they run their bicycles in the winter out there in Saskatchewan so road salt doesn't do any deleting on their trucks.

And that is why I have stopped trying to heat my uninsulated garage here in Maine. Instead I delete all plans to work on my truck until about late April.
Instead I drive my wife nuts in the winter spray painting parts in the cellar, cleaning parts in the bathtub, poaching thermostats on the kitchen stove, and assembling carbs on the dining room table. Keeps me from getting cabin fever!
p.s. - don't EVER open a 1/2 gallon can of Berryman's carb cleaner anywhere in the house you share with a female. Ever. The stink lasts six days..........the marital discord lasts 6,000 days.

And she hasn't deleted you! I say you're doing a great job from being deleted

Well she did have that significant lapse in judgement when choosing a spouse. So, perhaps making life decisions isn't a strong suit. Luckily for most of us.

Not many people find a way to delete the deleting. Insulation... delete. Heat... delete. Propane....delete. walk away from it.... all deleted. Honestly I think I learned something here.

Add to that an old sweatshirt that you contaminated with gear oil and threw in the wash; that sweatshirt will be immediately deleted to the local landfill. In CA, I believe there might hazardous waste law for this type of disposal.
Febreze should make a commercial of a few guys sitting in a garage that just changed out a rear differential and have been spritzed with the freshener. If they bring in a woman who cannot detect that odor, I’ll buy P&G stock tomorrow!
I was going to post this on the thread I started about my question if I should use a kerosene heater or a propane tank top heater to temporarily heat my garage or the room next to it. I decided to buy a propane tank heater.
My wife arranges evergreen decorations in the insulated room next to the garage part of my garage. The heater got the temp up to 66°F. Tonight, yes she waited until tonight to start, it was in the low 40's. So it was real comfy in there for her.....
