I deleted all the 6 year old gas from my gpw over the weekend. Only to find the the rings decided to delete their non attraction to the cylinder walls!
It seems that GJ has abandoned this thread. I wonder why?
I don't really understand what this thread has turned into, to be honest. I try and contribute to the forum in a positive manner at all times without wasting anyones time, so yeah, I've no idea what's going on.

A thread like this gets launched every so often and the less mature members use it to act up as if a substitute teacher is in charge. I'm guilty on all counts. Minor error on your part becomes a playground for others. Just good natured joshing. And it doesn't make any sense on purpose. Enjoy.

GJPilcher...in the context of your homeland imagine what would happen if a bunch of my countrymen from across the Irish Sea wandered into a pub one night and found the pubkeeper had gone home, left it unlocked, and the lights on. That kind of thing.

At this point I have no idea what I'm deleting. Just thinking about responding to a previous inquiry as to what the heck is going on with this thread. Some times an "old truck enthusiast" fte'er asks something and it unleashes the rath of heathen brothers of old junky trucks that they are endeavoring to bring back to life. OCD....maybe. ADHD too, maybe? We're just taking a break from the real truck stuff.
Wow! I just noticed there are a lot of Canadians on this thread. Brings me to two thoughts. One, you guys like a free flow funny thread. ( lot of f's there) or two, you guys are trying to "delete" us other countries. 🤔 🤣

Anyone need a few Top Value Stamps? It's not much, but it might be enough for someone to finish a book. Then they can cash it in for that rod and reel they've been watching in the Top Value catalogue for the last thirty years.
I saved them from my trucks Dispatch Box when I bought it in 1976.
I didn't need them because the supermarket near my house issued Gold Strike Stamps, not TV.

My folks used to save S&H Green Stamps and Blue Chip Stamps. I remember "getting" to put the stamps in the books. This would have been in the 60s.
there was a 'Kwik Chek' gas station in town when i was in high school, and they had a similar stamp card deal for free soda pops and such. i remember having a glove box full of those stamps and my brother and i raided dad's sometimes haha! good times lol
