Need new negative cable for Excursion. Obsolete

It has been obsolete for years but I am looking to replace the negative cable on the passenger side. I really would rather refurbish my chewed up ends rather than to get a junkyard one but my first preference is to buy a new one. Anyone know where one can be had or is substitution ok with say one from a Powerstroke 7.3 truck?

TIA

Go to a place that sells welding cable and just buy you the correct length of appropriate sized cable and make your own. It will handle the current just fine, and the multiple, smaller strand wires will be a little more resistant to corrosion.

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1492149-battery-cables-going.html. I got new Lugs and this crimper from Amazon described in this thread. If you don't have to replace the whole cable this method works wonders.

You show already know this without me saying it. Cables should be tight. If 10 ft/lbs of torque is good, 60 is better and 200 is best.

The PO FUBARED it and I have been gently limping it along and thought that sooner or later, I should replace the ends.

I tend to go old school & solder all Battery cable ends on or build new ones out of welding cable as mentioned.

Checked them. They don't have it. People have said a F350 one will work. I think I am going to have to give it serious thought.
