accelerator cable

so my i replaced my tps and broke the little plastic sleeve inside the spring on the tb side of my accelerator cable. has anyone found some way of fixing this problem or do i just need to go buy a whole new cable?

If you need to get a cable let me know. I have one I just took off of '90 f-150 5.0 that I will probably never use. Sure we could work something out if you think you could use it.
