Wester's Garage out of Canada. They were recommended to me by a friend. They rebuilt the one that was in the truck. It was supposed to have better resistors in it. It is about 4 years old. I haven't really driven the truck much except to haul stuff since i got a company truck.
Nothing against the other guy but I would venture to guess they bought the parts and did the home repair version. Not saying it does not work, but if you want it done right........
Thanks for the votes of confidence, guys! Your U0105 code combined with that P1378 code tells the story.
You have inadequate supply side voltage coming into the FICM, either due to a weak/bad relay, a weak or bad charging system (alternator or battery), or bad grounds. Ultimately, this damaged the logic board on the FICM.
This may have been caused by letting the truck sit a bunch between uses, which allowed the batteries to self-discharge.
This is a common death by a thousand cuts scenario, sadly.

Thanks guys. I finally got the truck back running with a new FICM from FICM repair.com. But thanks to everyone that replied. I enjoy learning and working on my own stuff. Don't get me wrong, but working on my own vehicles, I know exactly what has been done and if it fails I have no one to blame but myself. So now i can get a tank or 2 of fuel through her before I decide to go off on anymore long trips with her.

Just curious (not trying to nit pick) ......
Was wondering why you qualified the statement in bold with the "but"?
Most of the experienced folks here want to help fix problems, but also want to help avoid wasting money. Seems like everything was spot on and no one was judging you on your choices, just offering advice based on quite a bit of experience. I am probably just reading more into it than was intended (and my apologies if I am).
That said, glad you got it resolved and reps to Ed and the FICMrepair.com folks!
