Yes, L & L sells headers for 460s years 1967-1997. Try their website at www.landlproducts.com They have a products list and a price list online. It is the only place I've found to get L & L headers. I'm pretty sure if you call them they'll set you up with what you need. I'm probably going to give them a call myself after the house is finished and the new shop is up. Hope this helps you.
I bought my L&L's directly from them. They have two versions, one with air-injection pipes and the set without them. I got the set without them. You don't need the air-injection pipes and related stuff when going to headers. I also didn't buy a y-pipe since I had true duals installed. If I remember correctly the ones with the air-injection pipes were around $100 more than the set without. If you have any questions regarding 460 headers give L&L a call they are very helpfull. Hope this helps.
Hey oxford01gt
Ref your price quote for the Thorleys of $663 in WA, was that with smog fittings and the ceramic coating? I had a quote much higher than that and want to compare apples-apples.
What's your p/n?
If so where did you order yours?
Thanx
460Kirk....I haven't ordered my headers yet, still trying to figure out the best way to go. I got the quote for 663.99 off of www.pro-max.com Use their online catalog to find the Thorley headers. They list the same price for air and non-air injected. I don't believe that price is for ceramic coated, come to think of it. You might want to give them a call. They are based out of Tacoma WA, but you can order from them online. They list appropriate part # on the website. Good luck and hope this helps.
Just a quick note to those of you concidering the thorley's. Thorley was sold not too long ago and if the headers you buy were made before the sale they do not have to honor the warranty. Make sure that the ones you buy are covered and I would get that information directly from Thorley not a retailer. It may be nothing but I just thought you should know.
Thanks for the info on Thorley, I'll have to check into that. That is the type of post that has me reading these forums just about daily. Don't know what I'd do with out the net anymore. Invaluable resource for information.
